Lightbulb 4,700 Miles to reach Gold on AA

I need 4,700 more miles to keep my Gold status on American Airlines - any advice?

My advice is to find something quickly as prices are only going to go up. If you want help with specific flight recommendations, please supply your home airport or airports, and any days that you are not able to travel. Also it is helpful if you can let us know exactly how many miles you need, for example 4679. Sometimes a few miles difference can make a significant difference in what the best flight might be.
