It appears you are correct, not sure which routing I was looking at, probably IAH to MCO. I looked at so many different routes I fail to remember why I booked it that way.

Nice to meet you too!
BTW: MSP-DTW-LAX paid some good dividends
a couple of bump opportunities, but those dang misconnects eliminated them
Met a few MR's out there and some great individuals, lots of fun, except the no sleep part.

What am I doing wrong? I've tried pricing this flight several times using different dates in Dec and Jan and can't find a fare under 1,xxx!
Searching on LAX - ATL - IAH RT
Is there something obvious that I'm missing?
Bottom line, I live in ATL but was thinking of using points to get to LAX for this deal. I need 9K miles before EOY

i'm trying to get this from SAV to LAX before I run 2 back to back
the best thing i came up with was flying end of February SAV ATL LAX with 3 nights in LAX, in that time i was thinking about flying this MR twice and getting back in LAX before my return flight takes off back on my SAV leg.
the flight from SAV-LAX is 469.6 with 4310 mqm
with adding the miles from the trip to LAX it comes out to just over 6.1 per mile
any thoughts ?

AH....Thanks Again....I do believe my new found friend already pointed that out :}
However, the MSP-LAX is often oversold ....so me thinks I came out ahead by asking the gate agent to route me MSP-DTW-LAX on the return ...so I did net more miles by routing through MSP.....guess it depends, doesn't it
