Those layovers would be really fun for people who know HK - there is so much late night good eats for very cheap, an easy, natural way into the city and back, and too many places (or just the streets) to have a few beers in the meantime, plus just to hang out overlooking the Harbour or walking the streets in Central...I almost wish I could have some layovers like that!

Not perfect on the mileage run scale, but was able to route out of ORD through IAH & EWR on the outbound for a total of 19,859 PQM (excluding the miles for HKG-CEB on CX, which aren't PQM as far as I can tell).
