UA: LAX-SFO-HNL-GUM-HKG 3.9CPM $675 17278mi

Originally found by TFD working off the DL fare. I was able to compile a island hopper fare for a decent CPM.

Showing $675/3.9CPM for Monday departures in Feb. 7 day stays, different duration for a bit more. Haven't played around with it too much. Can anyone comment on using a RPU for the allowable segments?

HNL-GUM is not RPU-able; the rest should be fine.

sorry, is it possible to actually incorporate the island hopper in this fare? i think OP is calling his fare "an" island hopper, but i would be interested in using this fare to fly "the" island hopper.

It is possible to book the true island hopper, seems to cost slightly more. I'm getting $738 for at least one date, with the island hopper through MAJ, KSA, etc. Long time in 737 Y though. I want to fly the route but it feels like a long time to spend in Y, even with being able to get off the plane frequently during the island hopper itself.

if you decide to book something with the IH segments and want some company, PM me your dates and i'll look into it. it would have to be in 2015 for me to make it happen, 2014 is jammed solid already and i just added another SAN-MCO weekend on the cheap AS fare.

It only appears valid for Thursday departures from LAX in January and February, and of course an overnight in HNL due to the departure time of 154. I might be booked for Thursdays in January and February though unfortunately, unless I want to give up a possible F award trip to Australia (and who wants to give that up ). Trying to see if I could make one set of dates work though, as I could possibly get away with missing a day then. Not likely to spend too long in HKG though. But thanks for the offer and I might take you up on it.

I've wanted to do the IH trip for a while now - and would be interested what dates you come up with. Good fare! Could be a DO...
