I'm seeing $594(470 Euro) for the FCO-NRT-FRA option. Did I miss something?

try 6/21 to 6/26. It was one of the few I could get on ITA that dropped to $474.

Same dates to Male was $488.

If you go to google flights and put in each long in a multi-city search, including CMB layovers, it should price out.

Got it! Is this the only date with sub three cpm? If it's wideopen like op said, I might consider doing a few back to back

Try FCO-TYO-FRA 06.17-07.03 and you'll get $418 (307€). Same with 06.17-06.27 or 06.17-06.21 or... As I wrote, lots of available dates but there's a minimum search to be done

Very strange question
According to your profile, you're AA EXP... I suppose you're used to some travel and you then might make a difference between FCO-TYO and FCO-TYO-FRA.
Or maybe aren't you too familiar with geography
Have a look to http://www.gcmap.com/mapui?P=fco-cmb-tyo-cmb-fra
It might help you...

Thanks. It took a few tries, but I finally figured it out.
