21 nights.. eesh. You could book this and book a return ARN-LAX on the interior of those 21 nights so there's only 1 day on either end in Stockholm.. Can do this for about $980..
LAX-ARN: 12,768 / $509
ARN - LAX: ~12,768 / $980 (only a quick search and finding L fares; cheaper if you're willing to take KL/AF back)
25,536 / $1,489 gets you 5.8 cpm and a whole lot of time in UA Y with only 2/3 nights needed in ARN.
I'd love to take this $509 flight, but I don't have family in Stockholm (that I know of) that would put me up, nor can I take off 3 weeks!

Also doable 3 Oct - 6 Oct. no need to call your distant relatives. Same price $509. Much more intriguing to me now at least.

I booked this last week for the same $509 from LAX for early September (staying 6 nights) thought that I would tour the area and possible Gothenburg as well. Hotel and meal prices seem somewhat high once I started looking into things.. Hotels seem to have better rates on the weekends as well for the extended MR takers.. Safe Travels
