[FARE GONE]: Alitalia: FCO/TRN/MXP-AUH £110 ai RT

Hi All,

I just came across this one while looking for flights to UAE

you can leave from FCO, TRN, MXP, BLQ for AUH and return pretty much anywhere in Europe for £113 or £220 in May & June

ITA and bookable on Orbitz, Expedia etc

Seems to be no YR but Alitalia already sent me confirmation

p.s. Sorry if not posted correctly this is my first post

Does it have anything to do with the date? April 1st.. I can’t replicate on Matrix or Skyscanner…
OP: Could you please post sample dates to back it up.

I got $297 for departing May 13 or 14 from MXP, connecting thru FCO and arriving AUH. Return from AUH (connect thru FCO) to CDG on May 18.

Edit: Using the below, I see for these same dates, MXP-(FCO)-AUH-(FCO)-LCY is $194

The trouble is, for Flying Blue members such as myself, O-class earns nothing (not even a segment) on domestic Italian flights. So that would mean the trip is worth only 3 useful segments (assuming a return to LCY) and it's rather a long way to go for a mileage/segment run if you're someone who is quite busy with constant rehearsals etc. like myself. I would sooner just do a run in Europe on KLM to somewhere I need to go for more or less the same price.

If it was able to start outside Italy, or book into a different sub-class on the domestic Italian flight, I would seriously look at it.

Still seeing US$193 for MXP-FCO-AUH-FCO-LCY. Tempting as I'll be around, but I'm really not sure I want to spend the minimum 3 days in Abu Dhabi when I could be touring Europe. The 10 hour layover in Rome is nice for a quick city visit though.
