Stayed over at Bewleys Airport hotel. Found it for $62 on expedia...not bad, and price matched and got a $50 coupon....haha! Off to Sydney tomorrow morning. Good night FT!

This was a great trip until things went completely south on the way home. We were traveling with 4 others from TBU to SYD to AUH to DUB. All boarding passes were received in TBU with seat assignments. Everything worked fine until AUH. As we were boarding, all of our boarding passes failed for not checked in. EY blamed VA, VA was unreachable and at best, we all arrived in DUB 8 hours late after EY rerouted us via LHR after denying everyone boarding. This caused me to miss my connection, where I had about 5 hours cushion planned and had to buy another ticket and a hotel to overnight in DUB.

Moral of story, check you ticket again in SYD and definitely in AUH to make sure you have been properly checked in for the entire route.
