Tonga is TBU, not TUB.

Fiji with Sydney stopover 860 Euro

Curious to see any functioning dates to Vanuatu.

Edit: Ah, only before June.

This quote seems to state otherwise:
"Other: Mileage accrual and MQMs only apply on Virgin Australia (VA) coded flights operated by Virgin Australia, Delta and Delta Connection Carriers." <bolding added>
https://www.delta.com/content/www/en...ia.html#VASep1
It seems to me that the Etihad-operated legs would not earn DL miles at all.

I love this. Thanks for posting it.

Now, can somebody get me to DUB from ABQ under 4?

Oh, and Tonga would be a very peculiar Honeymoon destination. Somoa less so.
First time I've heard anyone reposting blog content on here.

Various open-jaws possible - NAN, APW, TBU

Great find!

One can easily create an open-jaw at destination - checked with NAN, APW, TBU. Still works out between EUR 850-900 on expedia.de (use the link in one of the previous posts and just modify the von/nach fields as necessary).

794 editting my earlier post to coming back from Tonga instead of Fiji. And a stopover in Sydney. Nice find.

Ireland + Samoa or Tonga on the same trip. I like it.

Just hoping this deal will still be around when I finally get my tax refund.

Thanks for sharing! More deals like this please!!

I happen to be in DUB during the timeframe this works, so I took a look at it. It's odd fare construction - when I price out DUB-VLI roundtrip with the VA codeshares, Matrix shows me that's an end-on-end of a DUB-BNE Q fare with a BNE-VLI T fare, and no fuel surcharge. When I tried seeing if I could get just the DUB-BNE Q fare to fit my schedule, it gives me the same Q fare but with the fuel surcharge added in.

Yeah, it's a self-dumping fare obviously. Going to book the OJ Fiji/Tonga someone posted earlier. Would prefer to do Samoa/Tonga OJ but getting between those two countries is much more difficult.

Very interesting... depends on how to credit them (VA account?) but I need to visit Samoa and Cook Islands at least.
