PHL origination requires last out/first back flights.

The pricing is great, but the fact that you have to stay all day in PHL makes it a hard MR. Too bad you can't squeeze it in back to back.

Wow -- this is the first new thread on this long-running-Spirit-motivated fare in 2 weeks!

Sadly, inventory is pretty sparse right now, so it's not easy to use.

I did this trip as a MR back in November or so. As others have mentioned, unless you try and MoveUp (max 6 hours and must be at airport), you will be in PHL for the day. I had not been there before, so I made a trip of it and ended up enjoying the day.

I was only DM Gold at the time, I believe, and managed upgrades on both segments.

If you are in PHL, Minute Suites is worth checking out...

Question not an MR

$88 a i is the o/w fare. Rtn. is $198. Non-stops only.

How is that a MR? I estimate it nets 6.9 cpm

That indeed may be the case TODAY. This thread was started a month ago, and the fare predates that by a couple months.

But no deal lasts forever. Spirit can't make money at $44, and the big boys lose interest in matching fares at that level anyway.
