  • Fare feels too good to be true? Don't call the airline!
  • Double-check that the fare is actually in Business or First as some online search engines or OTAs confuse booking classes on some airlines.
  • Post as much detail as possible about the First/Business fare, including: fare class, fare basis, one-way/round-trip, sales channel, sample dates and total price (including taxes).
  • When posting fare rules, please enclose them in a [COÐE][/COÐE] block. Note the use of the eth (Ð) instead of a capital D here to prevent the forum software from trying to insert an actual block. Be sure you use the capital D.
  • Refrain from posting fare requests or engaging in off topic debates such as fare trends, specific aircraft configuration or visa requirements
  • The deeply discounted international fares discussed here are almost always specific to a certain point of origin, and only very rarely work in reverse (e.g. a SFO-LHR-SFO fare usually won't work LHR-SFO-LHR). Domestic fares more commonly work in reverse.
  • Please include important information such as operating airline, fare classes, city pairs, etc. in the body of your post rather than the post title field as it is not visible to those reading FT on mobile devices. This is not the "trick it" thread. Please do not speak in code.
  • Please do not post large images. Not everyone has infinite resolution, and it makes the rest of the thread very difficult to read. If it's not important enough to type in, it's not important enough to be here.
  • Last but not least: don't call the airline!

Note: There is a known miscoding on ITA and elsewhere, where fares on EI (Aer Lingus) are showing as being in first class. This is not correct, as Aer Lingus does not offer first class. If you see this fare, please ignore it and do not post it here as it is completely unbookable in every sense of the term. The mods are summarily deleting these posts in order to unclutter the thread.

Note: There is a known miscoding on ITA and elsewhere, where Z fares on EY (Etihad) are showing as being in first class. This is not correct, as Z fares are discount business on EY. These fares will not receive chaffeur service. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/etihad-airways-etihad-guest/1622229-removal-chauffeur-service-some-business-class-passengers.html

List of known, active deals:

JNB-DXB-SFO in EK F, $4k-ish one-way
MLE-HKG-US (various) in C, $1400 +/- available only on CX's website.
CMB-MIA, other US cities, for about $4400 in F, round-trip/return

BA AARP $400 discount for J/F bookings is now valid again for booking until 31 Oct 2014 but departure to EOS seems to get the discount. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/british-airways-executive-club/1435816-ba-fare-discounts-aarp-4.html

Looks like *A filed their Thanksgiving fares (P fares)

The usual TATL *A carriers, UA/AC/LH/LX/SN/OS

NYC-BRU/FRA/MUC/HAM/TXL/CDG/AMS/ZRH/GVA $2100 a/i

NYC-MAD/BCN $2200 a/i

NYC-LHR/MXP/FCO $2300 a/i

ex-WAS seems to be $2500 a/i

Dates:
FROM THE UNITED STATES -
PERMITTED 22NOV 14 THROUGH 28NOV 14 FOR EACH
TRANSATLANTIC SECTOR.
TO THE UNITED STATES -
PERMITTED 27NOV 14 THROUGH 03DEC 14 FOR EACH
TRANSATLANTIC SECTOR.
Hope others match and drop the price. Last year prices were under $2000 for most destinations.

Last February/March, the *A carriers were the first to come out with their summer sale fares. A month later, the other airlines joined and fares went down another $500~$1000.
I suggest to wait.

Delta holiday fares.....

http://www.delta.com/content/www/en_...06_AA004723_P0

There seem to be some legitimate values for those interested in a European holiday.

These are no Thanksgiving fares, sorry. Standard off-season fares. Thanksgiving is usually $800+ or something in that neighborhood for $1600 a/i.

Yeah- even though those fares aren't the greatest deal, it's probably the last chance to get a chunk of skypesos before they switch to the revenue system.

BDL/PVD - LIM r/t

hey everyone. I've been on FT for a bit over two years now and have never posted to this particular section so please don't throw things at me if this is not the correct format.

Just found and purchased the following today for a MR. BDL-DTW-ATL-LIM on 10/18 and then LIM-ATL-DTW-PVD on 10/20 for premium class r/t for $1346.00 ai. I know that some people like fare codes so the domestic portions book into "A" and the int'l books into "Z".

I've frequently "taken" from the postings in this section so I'm happy to "give back" if this works out for somebody. Thanks!

Nice find, soxfanndc! Did a little digging. This is widely available in ITA from BDL-LIM from August 18 through December 6. Not seeing a minimum trip time, plenty of availability for seven-day trips (max I searched for). It lists on ITA at $1405, but I'm seeing on DL.com at $1301 with one stop (through ATL) and $1358 with two stops (through DTW). Doesn't work from PVD, BOS, MHT, or LGA. Books into A (domestic) and Z (international) as mentioned, which is 150% RDM and MQM in DL's program, but beware of the A-fare as an economy -UP fare which needs FC availability in the case of any changes to book into first.

The $1358 fare generates 12,962 EQM after the class of service bonus, for 10.5 cpm.

Oh, and fare rules say two transfers in each direction and no stopovers.

Mh: Kix-lhr/cdg/fra/ams rt 198,000-220,000 jpy ai

MH: KIX-LHR/CDG/FRA/AMS RT 198,000-220,000 JPY AI

In celebration of 40 years operating to Japan, MH is offering some discounted business class fares to various destinations in SE/South Asia and Europe. The European fares are quite good -- less than 200,000 JPY from KIX to CDG, which includes legs on the A380.

These fares are only applicable if you fly KIX-KUL; itineraries including NRT/HND-KUL require a 50,000 JPY premium. You can fly from the following domestic destinations to KIX for no additional charge: CTS, AOJ, AKT, GAJ, SDJ, KIJ, TYO, MYJ, KMI, KMJ, NGS, FUK, OIT, ASJ, OKA
