I reckon that this is highly specific to the routing rules on just one fare rather than something more universal. As a longshot in the dark, has anyone found similar routings available on other QR tag flights? Specifically, has anyone been able to route KUL-HKT or BKK-HAN via DOH?

Tried to convince Mrs DevilDawg that this would be a fun trip to check out places we have not yet been but she nixed the idea - will have to let this go but look forward to hearing how it works out for others.

I have a party of 3 on July 3 DOH SGN. We do one way PNH DOH SGN with 3 weeks stopover in DOH. My parents (in 70s) are not into MR, we are just doing one way... For 430. Damn the stopover is expensive.

Sweet, thanks OP for a great find, I booked in June. $487 all-in with $40 cancellation for round-trip. Books into I.
It's tricky, because the flights are at different times on different days. I did PNH-DOH/DOH-SGN/SGN-DOH/DOH-PNH on a Wednesday/Thursday/Saturday/Saturday, with 36 hours in Saigon and three-hour layovers in DOH each way. You have to book multi-city.
Thanks again; reminiscent of the EK MLE-CMB F fares a couple of years ago where they forgot to restrict you to the non-stop. . .

Seems like an intresting run! Anyone know if we can layover for ~ 8 hours in the premium terminal / j lounge on the transit visa as the PHN gets into DOH at 22:30 and DOH - SGN departs at 07:30!
Anyone have experience with the transit hotel courtesy of QR?
