Great find! Would love if Delta would match considering it still requires a connection, but I'm not counting on it.

Delta did match for an SLC-BDL (which also requires a connection) that was available in 2012, so don't be surprised.

Thanks OP! Easy to get 777 or 763 to LAX, of course then you have to take the shuttle and CR7 into SLC.
