AUS-SJD UA $285 rt

Not quite a mileage run as Mexico has so many taxes and fees but at $80 each way plus extras this is the cheapest ticket I have seen to Mexico from Austin in years and is apparently aimed at Sat only non-stops but also applies on other routes. Thru Aug 24. Tons of 7 day trips on Saturday flights and some mid-week via IAH for another $5 more each way. I just snapped up a couple of seats for Mrs UAAAPeter and myself. Now the question is where to stay as SJD is such a ripoff for hotels. Maybe La Paz - rental cars are $4 a day - really.... Similar fares on other airlines but not quite so good.

At 16 cents per eqm it is far from mileage run material. This better belongs in the good deals thread.

Looks good. I'm interested in flying the ORD-IST-SIN segment because I need to go to Singapore only. Haven't been able to find a good fare below $1100 for the ORD-SIN-ORD route for a while. Cheapest is $1150 on CX.

Sparse Availability (I've only found Jan., Feb., & Mar.), long stay (I've only found 12-18 day trips) required & I think it is a W fare (i.e., no UA miles)

SAMPLE: ORD-IST-SIN-CGK-SIN-IST-ORD

NOTE: IST-SIN-CGK & reverse contain a single flight #

PRG-OUA-PRG for 312EUR AI

OUA is the airport code for Ouagadougou Airport in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, for those curious (I'm still surprised when I see one I have to look up myself).

Actually, I was wrong. I booked N-fares over the holidays for $132. Amazing.

The $168 was N for Feb and March.

I think only MSP based DL flyers will appreciate this but, MSP<->LAX departing 6/8 and returning 6/10 or 6/11 is coming in at 279.80. An excellent fare for this route
