  • Fare feels too good to be true? Don't call the airline!!!!!!
  • Double check that the fare is actually in Business or First as some online search engines or OTA's confuse booking classes on some airlines.
  • Post as many details as possible about the First / Business fare, including fare class, fare basis, one-way / roundtrip, sales channel, sample dates & total price, including taxes.
  • Post the details within the thread itself and not in the post title field as any information typed here cannot be seen by members accessing the thread using mobile devices.
  • Refrain from posting fare requests or engaging in off topic debates such as fare trends, specific aircraft configuration or visa requirements
  • The deeply discounted international fares discussed here are almost always specific to a certain country of origin, so don't ask if it works in reverse (e.g. a SFO-LHR-SFO fare usually won't work LHR-SFO-LHR). Domestic fares more commonly work in reverse.
  • Last, but not least, Don't call the Airline!

RE: LAX-TLV

Decent (not uncommon) Z fare for this route. This is available on many dates until EOS.
Is this MR material though?
Probably belongs in the Good Deals Premium Fares forum.

Better check that one out carefully if you want to credit that to a non-LAN program. I think LA transferred its MIA-BOG nonstop service from Lan to Lan Colombia (4C). 4C is not in Oneworld and doesn't earn anything in AAdvantage.

Not sure why anyone would want to flyfor this price, at least to Lima, when UA still have sub $1800 BizFirst fares from NYC to LIM. Sub $1600 LAX to LIM. And other cities as well...

Exclamation

Please note as the TK JNB/CPT-GVA deal seems gone I've split those posts off and moved it to a dedicated MR Discussion thread here so please direct all posts about this fare to that thread.

Thank you.

MXP-DXB AZ (EY Metal)

MXP-DXB AZ (EY Metal)
Seems to be wide open at ~$750 e/w ($1500 r/t). Purchasable on AZ (select US as country) as well as the big Ex.

Can't seem to pull up on Matrix.

It's actually a flight into AUH then free transfer (it tickets with a bus, but presumably you can just use EY's car service instead for free with the J ticket).

I believe this books into I, but I can't pull up my itin (I have ticket numbers and a PNR - purchased direct from AZ).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AND PRICE REVIEW
FARE RULES FOR DEPARTURE
Fare: BusinessNeutral USD 1504.40
Refund
Before departure: Allowed without penalties
After departure: Allowed without penalties
Change reservation

You can see it on matrix with the codeshares on AF/KL metal (great option if you want to credit to AF or DL, as you need ST metal)

I don't see anything about requiring DL metal on DL's AZ earning chart:

Class Exclusions: If a class is not listed, no miles are earned.

Other Exclusions:
Flights marketed/operated by AirOne.
Accrual is not eligible on flights operated by Saudia Airlines (SV)

Other:
Flights marketed/operated by AZ, Alitalia Express, Volare VE, CAI First/Second are eligible for accrual.

Tickets flown prior to March 1, 2013:
J - 150% MQMs

(1) Subject to 500 mile minimum
(2) Medallion Qualification Miles (MQMs) are used as a counter to determine SkyMiles Medallion

DL/KL/AF: NYC-CDG/MAD/BCN for $1,600+ rt a/i. Books in Z.

UA/DL/KL/AF: NYC-LHR/DUB/MAN for $1,400+ rt a/i. Books in P or Z.

Haven't checked any other city pairs but all fairly consistent and similar to last year.

Regular thanksgiving rules: OUTBOUND - PERMITTED 24NOV 13 THROUGH 29NOV 13 FOR EACH TRANSATLANTIC SECTOR. INBOUND - PERMITTED 29NOV 13 THROUGH 04DEC 13 FOR EACH TRANSATLANTIC SECTOR.
Thanks for posting!

I hope everyone jumped on this because today fares are about +$300 more than yesterday for every route that I tried.

I booked a AGS>ATL>LHR>AMS>SEA>SFO for $2120 ai on DL yesterday. 13.7 cpMQM/EQM. Booked at delta.com so 006 ticket stock and all DL coded. SEA>SFO on AS metal.

I went ahead and booked and was going to take advantage of the 24 hour cancel window to perfect the routing or find an alternate. But prices today are higher so I will stick with what I have.
