  • Fare feels too good to be true? Don't call the airline!!!!!!
  • Double check that the fare is actually in Business or First as some online search engines or OTA's confuse booking classes on some airlines.
  • Post as many details as possible about the First / Business fare, including fare class, fare basis, one-way / roundtrip, sales channel, sample dates & total price, including taxes.
  • Post the details within the thread itself and not in the post title field as any information typed here cannot be seen by members accessing the thread using mobile devices.
  • Refrain from posting fare requests or engaging in off topic debates such as fare trends, specific aircraft configuration or visa requirements
  • The deeply discounted international fares discussed here are almost always specific to a certain country of origin, so don't ask if it works in reverse (e.g. a SFO-LHR-SFO fare usually won't work LHR-SFO-LHR). Domestic fares more commonly work in reverse.
  • Last, but not least, Don't call the Airline!

Ay: $1500 nyc-svo/tll/rix

AY: $1500 NYC-SVO/TLL/RIX/Others in C

Not the greatest deal ever, but still a decent price for an early spring Baltic vacation. Must fly TATL on AY 5/6 (JFK-HEL), EOS 17 Jan, 5 day minimum.

That's more or less the going rate for discounted domestic first class fares these days on cross-country flights.

AA: LAX - ZRH with stop in JFK. $2800 books into I. 10 day min, good for dates out to June (probably further, haven't bothered checking). Quite good when you consider it's only a couple hundred more than coach.

You must be spectacularly unlucky in your coach fares!

How do you define 'couple'? As in 10+?

Very nice. STO/WAW/probably others also available for $2K.

Be aware that the intra-Europe flights to/from HEL are on Flybe which I don't believe earns miles.

Earliest Outbound Sector actually looks to be January 15th. At least for some destinations anyways.

That's a good heads-up for people. If you want to earn on BA/AA (I think BE Finland flights count to AY's FFP, not sure) you should book flights to SVO/SVX/WAW instead of the likes of TLL/RIX/CPH. Then again... I'm much more interested in going to TLL over MOS.

From AA - https://www.aa.com/i18n/AAdvantage/e...es/finnair.jsp

Note: Flights marketed by Finnair and operated by FlyBe Nordic are eligible for mileage accrual.

Ah I missed that. I was looking for Flybe on AA.com and didn't see it.

Good catch, thanks.
