  • Fare feels too good to be true? Don't call the airline!!!!!!
  • Double check that the fare is actually in Business or First as some online search engines or OTA's confuse booking classes on some airlines.
  • Post as many details as possible about the First / Business fare, including fare class, fare basis, one-way / roundtrip, sales channel, sample dates & total price, including taxes.
  • Post the details within the thread itself and not in the post title field as any information typed here cannot be seen by members accessing the thread using mobile devices.
  • Refrain from posting fare requests or engaging in off topic debates such as fare trends, specific aircraft configuration or visa requirements
  • The deeply discounted international fares discussed here are almost always specific to a certain country of origin, so don't ask if it works in reverse (e.g. a SFO-LHR-SFO fare usually won't work LHR-SFO-LHR). Domestic fares more commonly work in reverse.
  • Last, but not least, Don't call the Airline!

Not sure how J credits to particular airlines, but seems like a nice biz fare during a busy period.

Sample dates: 21 Dec 2013 - 7 Jan 2014 (on ITA)
J on TK credits 100% PQM to UA.

I guess for most people BKK is a more likely destination than SGN... BKK only cheaper, €1636 rt in J on TK

MS offers another €70 off, but TK apparently has a better biz product.

Only really worthwhile if you're in those countries to begin with. It's nothing I'd position for.

EY fly to BKK for Ł1899rtn in J from London, and they'll pick me up from my house to take me to LHR in a chauffeured car.

Add the cost of the positioning flights to ARN/CPH, parking at LHR, and fuel to get down there, and the Ł450 saving is soon eaten up.

Very good deal if you're based out of CPH/ARN, though.

It should be worthwhile for those who live in/near a hub in Europe. You can get to ARN from many hubs for something like €100 rt if you book early

Per ITA, though the detailed fare rules indicate that it's for a business fare - the one-way fare on TK books into K. Weird.

Round-trip books into J.

K class is business on TK. I asked for a written confirmation from the Customer Service as I found "economy class" in the confirmation e-mail (it's not this route but must be the same):

We have checked the system logs, we have some problem about tıcket detaıls with maıl. Your flıght cabin is bussines class.

More information about your ticket please call our 7/24 open +90 212 444 0 849 call center.
Thank you for your understanding.

Sincerely yours,

OS has a very good fare out of ARN to SIN for about GBP1,800 that can be routed via TYO/DEL/BKK/BJS, with the TYO/DEL/BKK/BJS-SIN legs on SQ/NH/CA. Hint: you can finish your journey in LHR instead for about the same price. A Sunday night stay is required but the fare is valid for 12 months. Fare basis is PBUYSEO1.
