AS/AA: OAK-HNL $296 ai RT (HA match on some dates)

It's really AS, but lots of dates in Jan,Feb,Mar and April.

Hawaiian has match this fare from OAK too on selected dates.

Also available from SJC for $297ai on AS, $318 on AA metal through LAX. Not worth the extra EQM's for me though.

Funny that, as the fare rules state:

Stopover restrictions
2 FREE STOPOVERS PERMITTED ON THE PRICING UNIT - 1 IN EACH
DIRECTION IN SEA/PDX/SJC/OAK/SMF/SAN.

Aero is correct about the fare rules, but I can't find a stopover at a low price on ITA.

Yes. Note, however, that the flight times don't allow for a same-day turn. Overnight In-N-Out run?

I agree, however, find that routing for the price! I'm betting that was just place in there by accident, unless someone wants to call AS and see is a AS agent can get it through one of those cities.

Normal fare rules probably include other connection points. However, the specific fare that gives this price has " TRAVEL MUST BE NONSTOP" for routing rules, so connections cannot use this lowest fare.

I don't see that at all. I see:

Flight restrictions
THE FARE COMPONENT MUST NOT BE ON
ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING
AS FLIGHTS 1000 THROUGH 1999.
AND
THE FARE COMPONENT MUST NOT BE ON
ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING
AS FLIGHTS 3200 THROUGH 3274.
AND
THE FARE COMPONENT MUST NOT BE ON
ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING
AS FLIGHTS 4000 THROUGH 6999.
Don't see any routing restrictions.

If you have access to ExpertFlyer, don't look at the fare rules. Look at the routing rules instead. Some fares are governed by the fare rules, where the routing rules have all sorts of wild options, but the fare rules limit to one or two transfers. Others are like this one, where a "normal" set of fare rules are listed, but the fare is restricted in the routing rules. It all depends on how the airline wants to do it. For AS, it seems they created this low fare, copied and pasted the fare rules, but then changed the routing rules to be nonstop only. The routing rules won't show up on ITA.

Are you referring to something going over my head? Or was I too complex in my post? I have the latter problem from time to time so I'm just curious. I can try to come up with examples but it would take some time (I have to stay up until 2AM to give a friend a ride tonight so I do have plenty of time to explain ).

LOL..I was talking about myself. I've been speaking with Aero. I don't understand the ITA stuff you guys do.. I just do google.com/flights. LOL....

Thats how I found Sea-iah-ord-bos-sfo-sea.. but I wanted to see if I could find something else with the most segments and it be idiot proof.

ITA is by no means idiot proof. LOL.
