For the vacay crowd, seeing availability on President's day weekend, leaving SAN on Friday red eye and returning Monday.

The fare has been around for a few days from several east coast cities so availability was eaten up pretty fast. It was wide open but is dieing.

The lowest was $88++ each way which is gone. There is a $99++ each way which is still there. Probablty won't last much longer.

If one lives in BOS or SAN, it might be a good idea to sign up for fare alerts from Airfare watchdog. Many good sales for the city pair especially since AS is entering the market. Between AS and UA I have 10x 2013 trips to SAN. Many of which i booked months ago at slightly higher fares

Really? SAN-BOS direct? AA tried it a couple years ago but it didn't last. I hadn't heard about AS. They (AS) have also resulted in low fares to HI and MCO lately.

Starts March 29. I used an earlier version of this fare to position for the Inaugural

UA: SAN <-> BOS $205 - $212 Jan - Mar RT ai

Any way to reverse it and go SFO-SAN-BOS-SAN-SFO?

I ask because SFO is my home airport.

Thanks and Happy Holidays all!

You can't reverse it the way you are turning it inside out. The fares are based on SAN and BOS being the endpoints of travel.

You could fly SFO-MIA for $247

try farecompare.com/maps

Thanks for helping me understand. Now that I have a better understand how the endpoint cities play in, I will have to see what I can find. Or make.

Happy Christmas!
