I need to get to PHX ;-) Did you construct this on ITA and then head over to AA?

2mg: Nope, I did it all on AA.com directly... just used the multi city feature.

sneuhardt: It works out to 30,592 EQM's with the AATHX promo and around 46,000 miles. Not sure about the points as I never pay attention to EQP. I just go by the miles.

AA: PHX to HNL 1.52cpm with AATHX - AMAZING

I'm guessing this is a combo of a PHX-NYC fare with a NYC-HNL fare.

Good find. Mini flying vacation. Hope you see some things on your stay and you have fun. On my iPhone, can't see if you have EXP status...if so, hope you get all the upgrades too!

OP: Great find. This may not be important but are you sure you get the flatbed seats in business between JFK and LAX? I do that run all the time and I get the cradle seats that don't lie flat. If there is a way to get a flatbed seat between LAX and JFK, I would love to know about it.

JFK/LAX is is flown exclusively with 762s. No flatbeds in F or J, though the recliners are quite comfortable, the most comfortable recliners in the fleet.

AA will have lie flats in F and J when the new fleet of A319/320/321s come into service next year. There's a thread about it somewhere on the AA forum.

This isn't 1.5 cpm with AAthx. Its 3cpm with it. Just doing 2 JFK to HNL runs would be better value. Anyway I found something a bit better...

Fri, Dec 7 9:00 AM PHX - Phoenix Sky Harbor Intl
JFK - New York John F Kennedy Intl
Sat, Dec 8 9:00 AM JFK - New York John F Kennedy Intl
HNL - Honolulu International Airport
Mon, Dec 10 9:00 AM HNL - Honolulu International Airport
JFK - New York John F Kennedy Intl
Tue, Dec 11 9:00 AM JFK - New York John F Kennedy Intl
PHX - Phoenix Sky Harbor Intl
for $825
Routing ends up being phx>dfw>rdu>jfk>lax>hnl>lax>jfk>rdu>dfw>phx

Didn't someone posted earlier about AA not crediting miles to HNL?

Yes, for flights booked on HA - not the issue on AA metal.

This is not 1.52cpm, but 3.07cpm.

JFK-DFW/ORD/LAX/-HNL-DFW/ORD/LAX is better.

Can you give an example of the better pricing? I'm not finding this coming up better...
