Saudia is offering as low as $ 496 for Mumbai - Jeddah -JFK - JED - Mumbai
for a amazing low of $ 496.. available now thru Oct 1013... accrues
100% miles on DELTA (v class)...

Where did you find it? What dates? The lowest fare I found was $1175 AI.

available from DEL-JFk also , available over holidays, $606 a/i Dec 21-Jan 3 on orbitz.

works to IAD also. Jan 13-24, $609 a/i

Does show up on ITA if you specify sv+ in the advanced routing codes. Sample dates Sept 4 - Sept 6 for about $513 usd. Checked multiple months for the reverse no luck yet...

anybody have experience with SV? I'm thinking about doing this but 7hrs layover in JED followed by 14hrs in Y is a bit unnverving to me.

I see it on the airline home page also.Sadly for me in the China airlines membership they only recognize that V class as 50% mileage. But if i bought the premium which is only slightly more it would still be decent.

Go here and the Mumbai- new york flights. to me it seems July-September seems cheapest as low at 488 USD for V class.

Of course the biggest consideration is you need to get there in the first place. Which is pretty useless for the USA people as its another trip (half way around the world) just to start this trip. Even i am looking to see if from Hong Kong (Near where i am based) if its worth flying to Mumbai.

There is a link on the front page of FT that says "New York to Mumbai for $496" and it links here. They need to fix that.
