AA: US-DOH, from $678 in Dec; cheaper in '13
A decent fare, especially for those looking to re-qualify, or start 2013 on a high note.
OA14EQP1. All-AA flight numbers.
Sample pricing for 05DEC - 09DEC:
JFK, $678
DCA, $788
ORD, $801
DEN, $819
DFW, $831
Fares are about $30 cheaper for select dates in Jan-Feb.

10.11 cpm from JFK. I don't see that as mileage run material, though not a bad fare if you have to go to DOH anyway. Adding a stop at LHR adds 7 miles according to Milecalc.com.

It's year end. For someone sitting right at a qualification threshold, 10.11 may indeed make a lot of sense as a MR.
YMMV.

14,500 miles for $678 is not 10cpm

Only AA metal gives DEQM, not BA.
Kudos to you.

Didn't realize that it was roundtrip. That makes all the difference.

That's a really good fare. I have a $500,- voucher. Wondering if that will work since the fare is likely using AA between JFK-LHR. Hmm...
I think it is also important to point out that you can set up the itinerary in such a way that you have a half-day (or day) in London on your return home. Freakin' awesome if you ask me.

I see same day turns on 11/29, 11/30, or 12/1 - price increases ~$100
I'm not sure I can do it without an overnight anyway!
Anyone have an upgrade expiring they want to donate?? Happy to repay in January with an AA or UA Systemwide...

OA14EQP1 is the fare, i.e. tickets book into O class with a 14 day advance purchase.
