UA: EWR-TUS $260ai R/T < 4 cents per EQM
Wide open availability thru December 2012. A simple EWR-SFO-TUS-SFO-EWR routing puts it at less than 4 cents per EQM. January and February 2013 available for $10 more.
Not a mind blowing value, but a rare UA mileage run opportunity ex. EWR.

Some $266 RT AI out there for EWR-IAH-SFO-TUS and same return (3.5 cpm), but requires an overnight in TUS. Mostly available for Tuesday departures, some Mondays and some Fridays as well. Availability improves in October and November.

Just be aware of those CRJ200 running between SFO/TUS.
But, still not bad out of my home airport

This will make for a nice weekend trip... golf, UofA football, ideal weather. Fall is a great time of year to visit TUS.

Booked the EWR-IAD-LAX-TUS-IAH-LGA (staying away from US metal!
) - thanks for the though of the IAD connection...hadn't thought about that.
While it is a standard fare (TUS is always cheap it seems) from NYC - this one has a ton of availability...more than usually, IMHO.
