If only VX were matching (and no, so far they are not). The only airline worth flying domestically any more!

Off-topic, but have to ask: for Y or F? Pretty happy with AA F domestic. Haven't tried VX First class (whatever they call it), but can't see it being leaps & bounds better...

Thanks for this

There is availability thru 2/1013 with weekend & midweek same day turns via IAH and a redeye via ORD for more miles tho they both connect to a late return via IAD arriving SFO 12:22 am but for me, more EQM's is more EQM's so I booked 4 (1/12-13, 1/19-20, 1/26-27 & 2/2-3)

FNG here!!

I just booked 2 OW's UA141/UA225 FLL-IAD-SFO and UA408/UA135 SFO-IAD-FLL on 1/12-1/13 for $119.60USD a piece. For a dollar more per ticket I'll connect thru IAD than IAH! 6638 total miles...yes please!

I believe that works out to be 3.6cpm if my math is corret

I didn't realize UA has now a direct flight between FLL and IAD. Or, do you have to connect to EWR first?

UA: SFO-FLL from $225ai

They announced a new non-stop 737 service from IAD to FLL starting 10 or 11 November. Adding a second daily flight in January 2013, I believe.

Thanks for posting, OP! Was able to get BWI-EWR-FLL(overnight)FLL-CLE-SFO-CLE-FLL-CLE-DCA for $421; that's 9564 PQM for 4.4 CPM, all in G.

Why $1000 for approx 20K?? why not SFO-BKK or some thing like that, or SFO-EZE and spend a day or two in inexpensive places ( quite nice too ) and rack up similiar mileage at a similiar cost?? Just curious.. Do you know Bill Ranford??

Where is SFO-EZE for ~$1k? Best I've seen is closer to $1200 and now most are close to $1500, at least on AA.

I don't see this fare for Jan or Feb 2013 anymore.
