Same phenomenon on kayak out of LAX with fares as low $463 on KLM/AF during November, but the fare jumps once redirected to the airline site.

AF has been cutting fares on most routes from NAmerica to try to capture customers. I'm not sure if UA will go any lower. Most fares are in the $800 range again (ex-EWR) for October/November, though some $600s are still around. Not familiar with SkyTeam and mileage given for low fares on AF and KLM when credited to DL.

Nice fare! Grabbed one from EWR with a farelock while I think about how willing I am to sit that long for a weekend. I've done crazier.

wondering myself how I'm going to survive nearly 23 out of 24 hours on a plane. A lot of water, walking the plane and exercise in IST on the turn.

It seems to be a Kayak error. SFO - BCN showing $460 KLM/AF 2/12 - 2/24. Also some other destinations showing these errors via Kayak alerts. None price out for me.
Fortunately I got in on that DL $299 SFO-BCN fare in Sept 2010

So you're doing it, then?
I've given myself an overnight-- arrive Saturday and back Sunday.
