EK from Dammam, Saudi Arabia is great right now.

DMM-BKK/HKG/MNL in business class around $1100 USD. Outstanding.

Remarkable, indeed. Is this part of a pattern for EK (time of year), is it just the sample here (frequent EK flyers), or are they hurting? Can't imagine the latter reason, given their backing. Any knowledge or speculation?

I could not check yet but it looks like BA has a 2 for 1 business class promotion, $2500 JFK - LON for example, with a free companion. Not sure it works both ways and whether this is the price for both tickets or the average.

Usually EK has some small sales but this one is by far the biggest one I've seen in recent history. The sale is valid for travel after Jan 22nd which is usually a quiet time of year.

NBO-JFK/LAX/SFO/IAH/YYZ/SEA/IAH

J ~ $1650RT inc tax.

I can't, either, and I think it's fair to assume that it isn't actually happening. The wording at the site linked to by af fp is confused and doesn't link to any current BA offer. There was something similar in spring 2009, ex-UK only IIRC. As of today, BA's ex-UK winter sale doesn't show any CW TATL fares.

I think these specials fares you can't book them online but a TA should source them for you.
