Thanks flyinghigh, as noted above there are days where the total is less than $100. I ended up 'stuck' with $5.80 days.

well, out of certain cities you can do a run for 0 dollars. Officially, you are still spending money on airfare, its just that the package-coupon takes the cost away. I assume you are still getting credit for the original airfare.

When I booked "free" flights through the expedia.ca deal I still received revenue credit through CO. This deal may be different though because it is booked directly through the airline rather than a third party.

It is not completely spend based and there are some potential areas where this can be used to get way more points than just the spend-based ones.

Thanks for finding this, although I suspect this deal is better in theoretical terms than in practicality.

Still, somebody's going to get a cheap day in Vegas out of it!
