EWR-SIN CO/NH $684... EQMs?

The following itin is available on CO/Expedia/Orbitz,etc. Problem is that on the CO website it is showing EQMs only for the EWR-NRT segments. With the new Star membership, shouldnt flights on NH/UA accrue EQMs (couldnt find a fare class chart for *A partners)...

Remember, CO is not officially in Star Alliance until tomorrow so I would imagine that co.com will not reflect the partnership for EQMs - or it is simply not updated yet. That being said, IMHO you will get the EQMs for the full trip.

CO has not yet announced what the details of earning on * partner's is going to be. Based on the many threads in the CO forum, that information isn't going to be made public until CO's entry into Star tomorrow.

The speculation is that it'll work, but no word on what would be 100% eqm vs. 50% vs. not earn.

Yes, but ANA is significantly stingier on fare classes that earn 100% EQMs than, say, United. If 100% EQM earning is a major issue for this trip, I'd suggest sticking to United for the intra-Asia legs if possible.

Yes, that's what I've done...booked NRT-SEAsia on UA as my choice from CO's connectors. I have no idea what the EQM scenario will be, hopefully decent. Also, there's the issue of semipreferred seating...it would be great to snag an exit on UA's 772. But I will wait until after tomorrow to call them.
