AA: DFW-SEA-ORD-DEL-ORD-SEA-DFW for $958++

I did a multi-city search on aa.com and came up with $958+$111.70=$1069.70.

Leave DFW on 11/14 and return on 11/17 or later.(min 1 night needed in DEL)
Books in O fare bucket.
Total RDM Miles=21,728
with DBEQM promotion=43,456

Not a great fare with $0.049 CPM basis. Any ideas to make this deal sweeter with creative routing & travel originating in DFW?

sometimes you can do dfw-del-nrt-del-dfw only certain times of the year for a decent fare

not that I plan to do this, but what is the lowest fare have you seen for this?

I'm told NRT-ORD-DEL and vv are open jaw but I'm still wondering if someone could get away with applying a single AA SWU NRT-DEL or vv.

Anyone else able to help on this?

I'm looking to do a MR from AUS and this seems to be the best option right now. Anyone else?

Thanks!

Pretty good deal!!
I've done DFW-LAX-ORD-DEL-ORD-LAX-DFW. It's nice 'cause I can get the 767 out of LAX to DFW. But beware of weather delays.

hi jayzee9, "best option" is debatable in this case. How many EQM do you need (assuming you did sign up for DBLEQ)? $1070 seems high for an MR but it depends on what you need, how much you're willing to go through (ORD-DEL in Y?!), cost, and how much time you have.

I'd compute the cost/EQM and use that as a point of comparision. You might be better off to position yourself to either coast and do transcons or do a run to FRA, MAD, or BCN. Also please keep in mind that upgrading to J on AA (w/o SWU's) takes 40k miles + $350 each way, assuming there's availability.

Not to discourage you, but based on what I've read on FT turning around at DEL isn't for everyone. To linger in India you'd need a visa (adding to the cost).

How about we discuss this under Mileage Run Discussion or via PM's? I'm AUS based and willing to do a little research on your behalf.
