CO: WAS-SNN (Shannon, Ireland) $504 A/I

Seems like a three day minimum stay, available through March.
6500 miles roundtrip. Example dates: outbound January 28, return Feb 1.

I really don't think this is MR material.

I booked a trip before elite 500mile minimums for far less than this today.

it isn't a bad deal however

Mileage run? I don't even think it is a great fare for the fall...

Not great as an MR, however, cheapest if one wants to go to SNN. For a few more $$$, one can go via CLE as well as EWR.

Not a good MR

kausa:
You will find forum members ruthless in their enforcement of their "qualifications" of what makes a good MR announcement. If the fare looks mildly interesting to you and something that 90% of flyers would find acceptable as a good fare...that's probably not FT announcement material.

Admittedly, the system works wonderfully as it is self policing...imagine if every slightly reduced "sale" fare was a big post. We wouldn't be able to wade through the muck of junk posts.

Don't despair or be embarrased. I have been a member for some time but almost never post. I simply have too many other things to do. However, I certainly do appreciate the efforts of those who are compulsive fare searchers. Without them we would have very little here.

Hi x1achilles,

thanks for the kind words. I realize this is not the best deal ever posted but it seemed to be on the low end of fares to Europe for this period at the moment, so I figured it might be worthwhile for some people.

And I'm not embarrassed or in despair. I learned a lot from FT as a lurker over the last couple of months, but I certainly still have a lot more to figure out...

More appropriate thread to post this would be in:

"Good Deals" in Economy Class - excellent fares between certain city pairs
