How are you managing a same-day turn? I'm only getting a 1 pm departure from TPA that gets to JFK at 4:05 pm. Makes a same day turn impossible. Is DL cutting back TPA-JFK after 10/31? I'm trying a couple dates in November and can't get the TPA-JFK outbound earlier than that.

Same-day turn in this case being a redeye on the flight back. Same day turn means you're heading back on the same day, not necessarily that you ARRIVE home on the same day you left.
Available ex-TPA with OP routing for $224 ai on 10/28, 10/30, 11/6, 11/13.
Kalun47 just needs to complete 25,000 qualifying miles before January 1, 2010. Anything over the silver qualifying level should also count as "rollover" qualifying miles for 2011 status, meaning fewer miles needed in 2010 to maintain status. For the future, gold is a big jump in benefits because the bonus for bankable miles goes up from 25% to 100% for Skymiles.

Thank you for your clarification. I'm a college student, so $231 x 3 is a sizeable investment for me, and I'm still on the fence whether I should do it!
Sorry, I'm sure this has been answered before, but how do you book this to force multiple legs (instead of just the connection in Atlanta that I get on Delta.com). Thanks.

No worries, I'm fairly new at this and its been quite frustrating to get it to price. I was finally able to book using the following:
tpa-jfk
jfk-sfo
sfo-lga
lga-tpa
When results are returned for JFK-SFO, select the nonstop or connection you prefer. For SFO-LGA, select the connection you prefer as no nonstop is available.
I booked via Orbitz.
Let me know if you need any further assistance. Also, This fare is available as early as 10/20 (I booked another one).

On the NWA site you can select multi-city..enter the route and estimated time of departures. Then select Price and Schedule, this allows you to flights by segments. Just watch that you have ample time for connections.
