I'm going to move your thread to the Chicago forum, where I think you'll get more assistance.

If you're looking for good beer(good bar?), I would recommend taking a hike over to the Terminal 1 C gates and find the Berghoff Cafe. Its a local Chicago place, although I'm not sure who brews their beer now. Also, they make a pretty good sandwich to soak up all that beer.
Be advised that the beers in the airport won't be any cheaper than on the plane.

just went for breakfast the other day at Pine Grove (which had closed for a bit), food was very good. On Fridays & Saturdays they are open 24 hours.

Best ORD Restaurant - Terminal 1 - Concourse B
Believe it or not, a google search has not helped me find a map of restaurants at ORD in United's terminal. What is the best restaurant in terminal B? For breakfast? Thank you.

I believe it not !

I think the first list is a bit outdated, but still helpful.

Sit down in ORD terminal 1? Not many. The Wolfgang Puck restaurant has some seating and the food is good. The Chili's also serves breakfast, but it's not that great - it does have the most ample seating though.
There's also a Tuscany Cafe (of Phil Stefani fame) located around the bend near the B18-20ish gates - very near the site of the old Ted Carpet Club. I'm not sure if they serve breakfast, but if they do, I would assume that it's probably going to be good.

I do frequent Chilis Express, but also there's the bar on C towards C28 and the Wolfgang Puck's near B6 (I think?). I've had mixed experience at all of them. Not that 95% of airport food is anything to write home about...
