GRR Business Center & Grand Hall

GRR Business Center & Grand Hall
Am I correct that the GRR Business Center and Grand Hall restaurants are pre-security?

May have a couple of hours between landing and pick up so I'm looking for workspace. Does the AA RJ145 service from ORD truly "gate check" rollerboards or will have to go to baggage claim to retrieve?

Yup, that is all outside of security. I'm 95% sure if you gate check your rollerbag you'll get it planeside at GRR (not have to leave security) but there's not much to do within security at GRR -- food and better workspace is outside of security.
