You want to claim your bags on the lower level of T2. You can catch the CTA by going down to the Pedestrian tunnel near exits 2B or 2D once you claim your bag. (See map linked)

Here's an excellent link regarding your CTA question.

It's reasonably well marked with signs, too. I can't remember if it says "Trains To City" or something similar, but generally speaking you should be fine. (Hint: If you wind up outside, you've made a wrong term.)

Thank you very much and that was very helpful of you guys. I'll try to catch the CTA train from ORD to downtown Chicago. I can see it the map where I can pick the bag up before I am headed to the train. I can see where I exiting 2D into the Pedestrian tunnel. I will try to best everything I can.

If you get lost, just ask someone. Chicagoans tend to look rushed, but we're very friendly when asked for help

I just make it on the train last Friday afternoon and returns to ORD today. I can see it the signs where I can catch CTA to downtown Chicago. It's much easier for me that I know how to get there. I took on Blue Line. I didn't have need any help from those people. I can followed those people where I catch the train. I can handle on it.

Yup, sure I am. I am very good transportation. I am very good ride on the bus/light-rail/rail/train, too. It's much easier for me. That is why I am very good ride on bus skills. I have been on city bus for a long time. I pay $14.00 for 3 days pass.

The fact that the signs actually say "Trains to City" took some of the wind out of my Chicago sails, and we excuse people who aren't locals...but we'd never use the phrase "El Train". It's either "the train" or "the EL" or less frequently "the subway".
