I prefer Fast Park during the non-winter months. Usually prices between 5 and 8 bucks includes a free newspaper and bottled water! It's never taken more than 5 minutes to be dropped off.

I'm a level 5 yellow myself; you can usually find a space in A, B, or C on Sunday night or early Monday morning, and it's a short walk to the sky bridge.

I may try Super Saver next week. I've tried FastPark, but always feel rushed with the van pulling up behind me - which is ironic since the door-to-door service is supposed to be their competitive advantage.

Im a level 5 parker as well in the red section since I drive a truck and cant get to the first 2 silos of parking spots...Get as close to the walkway from the parking structure to the terminal as possible and just hop on the elevator down to level 3 and walk over.

When did they start segregating level 3 close to the terminal as hourly parking? That used to be the ideal spot to be, but now it is all blocked off and I dont even attempt to try to go on that level at all.

I've been using Fast Park ever since they started the $5 promotion over the summer. Other than that, I typically park on level 4 near the elevator to the walkway.

I remember from about 2001-2003, I used the parking service that Thrifty car rental offered. It was an awesome valet service for just $3.50 per day. When I would come back from a trip, they would pick me up at the airport and bring my back to my warm car...yes, it was already running and ready for me to pick up. Ah, those were the days. Thrifty doesn't offer parking at MKE anymore.

Level 4 generally seems to be less full regularly. It might be due to the fact you have to take the stairs or elevator to get to the skywalk. I tend to park by the side closest to the E Gates. Partly since I want to scope out how many people are in line for security (and how many hundreds I am going to tick off... ah being an elite).

And on that note, this Tuesday night if you see someone wandering around on Level four, looking sad, lost, and tired. There's a chance its me. Be nice, and offer me a cup of coffee (preferably with a shot of bailiey's) and possibly a sandwich.

I tried the SuperSaver parking this week.

Some observations:

(1) Monday morning departure was no problem; a shuttle arrived within minutes and I experienced no delays getting to the terminal.

(2) Upon arrival this morning (Friday) at around 8:30am (after a red-eye SFO - MSP - MKE), a shuttle was waiting and we departed right away (i.e., I was the only PAX and the driver did not have to wait for additional PAX).

(3) There was a slight miscommunication - I said "A" Lot and the driver took me to Amtrak. The normal route from the Amtrak lot to the "A" lot is under construction, but even this detour only added a few minutes to the trip.

(4) I use Smart Pass (which sends receipts via email). When I got home and checked my email I had been billed $40 for 5 days (which would be the old rate of $8/day). I called the number on the receipt and they issued a credit for the difference. I received an updated email within 30 minutes.

I think MKE parking rounds up to a full day after 2 hours. Does anyone know the policy at FastPark?

Actually, do the same thing. Park on level 4. Usually find a spot near the E-concourse in the first or second rows at 5am.
