lodging in New Paltz area?
Visiting New Paltz area from the Left Coast in mid-Sep and wondering about lodging in the New Paltz area. Seems chain hotels are scarce (no Marriotts), so looking at alternatives, perhaps B&B. Any suggestions are appreciated.

The closest Marriott properties are CYs in Kingston and Poughkeepsie, which are roughly 30 minutes away. I can't really recommend anything closer, but I can recommend the Gilded Otter for beer/food and Tuthilltown Spirits (Makers of Hudson Bourbon) for a whiskey distillery tour.
