Currently in the Mera lounge at CUN T2. Lounge is used by AC, *G, Priority Pass and others. It is compact, food offering is minimal (small sandwiches, nuts and cookies), but the Corona is cold. There are other complimentary beverages on offer as well.
There are two other lounges next to us, Oneworld and ____. I'll have to go outside and look.

Was just in lounge in T3 today with my two daughters. I had a Priority Pass, and wasn't expecting to be able to be admitted for all 3 of us...but it turs out that Ritz Carlton guests, which we were, are entitled to free access! Enjoyed a Stoli Bloody Mary and couple of mini turkey and cheese sandwiches...This is a decdent/comforatble lounge, if you can get access...just no access with US airline first class, elite status, or club membership.

Did the Ritz staff mention it to you?

This sounds promising as we find the airport to be completely boring for the 3 hours they make you arrive early and it never seems to take more than 15 minutes to enter airport and then be dumped into the enormous Duty Free shop.
Thanks for whatever information you can share.

Wife and I are staying for a week in early May at the Ritz Carlton. Wondering how the process works? Does the Ritz tell you about it when they drop you off at the airport or did you just ask at the Lounge Entrance? What was required to prove you were a Ritz guest?

No the lounges are in the departure area. You will never see that part of the airport on arrival, the authorities immediately funnel you into immigration and customs (as is done in the USA) and then to the airport exit. You'd have to go back into the airport thru security, and that won't happen without an outgoing ticket.

Lounge possibilities for United pax?
Flying CUN - SFO on United on Sunday. Can anyone with current information let me know if there are any lounges in the terminal we will be in (terminal 3 ? Gate appears to be C 22).
No United Club or Star Alliance, but is there anything we can pay for in that terminal? (Due to flight snafu we may be there for 4-5 hours!)

We used the MERA Lounge in August 2012 (Priority Pass, flying AA,) and it was fair - computers, air conditioning, some comfortable areas to sit, basic beverages and canapés, a port in the storm of a very touristy airport with not much to offer in shopping terms.
