Hi Randy,
Is it too late to apply for the trips on Open Skies?
My self and my BF would love to go. I am a social worker and FT has greatly helped me in planning and learning new stuff about the airlines and travel. Without the input from members on FT I would have been left out in the cold dark world. What I have learned on FT could fill a book. I learned about reservations, airline seating, SPG (which I knew nothing about), and dealing with the TSA. I am pretty flexible with travel but my BF isn't. He is an adjunct professor at La Roche College and Allegheny County Community College in PA...Pittsburgh to be exact. He teaches history, government, and political science. He would have to go on spring break, as I can't get anymore time off then 5 days off in a row in December. He is also a war-gamer and published his own magazine, "Line of Departure", which has won the Charles S. Roberts award for 2 years in a row for best amateur war gaming magazine. You can see it on
http://www.consimworld.com. (Under magazine publishers). We would not have a problem getting to NY to get the Open Skies flight, as we would have enough time to plan. I really want to see the WWI and WWII battlefields, and my BF, Jim is an expert in that area. My grandfather fought in WWI and I wanted to see if I can find the places where he was in battle. Jim also have a good friend in Amsterdam where we could stay and one in Portsmouth, UK. I am hoping that it's not too late to apply for the contest.
