The publicly available codes on this thread are working as far as we know. Please note that not every code will work for every property worldwide.

The best thing to do, rather than just posting "I'm staying at (fill in the blank)/does anyone have a code", is to try all the codes first. As such, this thread is not for "cheaper rate" requests.
Note that It's highly unlikely that FTers will find a code that isn't already listed based on a one-off request.

If the code is available at the property, it will show that/rate. If it's isn't available, it will let you know that. Please note that if if one (or more) code is available, only you can determine if the cost savings fits with your budget. If it does, great. If not, you might want to try and see if the property has a local promotion going or if you can use LNF (Look No Further/Best Rate Guarantee) for a better rate. Also note that sometimes a publicly available code may show a higher rate than just a regular booking. Not always, but sometimes.

If you have discovered a new code, please post it in this thread and update this Wikipost. But please, this list is ONLY for publicly usable codes. No corporate or private use only codes please. Thanks!

I tried every code in this and a Fat Wallet thread. Those were the only two that worked. I was just wondering what the requirements were since I've often booked AAA rates and never been asked for ID even though I'm a member.

you'll need to log into Marrweb (MGS) with your EID and print the required form (it's all automated these days...manual forms are no longer accepted...these forms are tied to the specific EID that generated it)

Marriott is cracking down on ID lately. I'm Lifetime Plat and never was asked for AAA ID until about 6 months ago. Now I can't remember NOT being asked for ID since they started up last year

San Francisco Marriott Corporate Codes

I will be traveling to San Francisco during the month of March and want to know the best corporate codes to use for Marriott properties. Is it possible to stay in the San Francisco area under $200? Ideally I would like to stay in Union Square or Fishermans Wharf. If any one has any tips or advice it would be greatly appreciated!!

There's already a sticky thread with a list of publicly usable codes here: List of publicly usable Marriott reservation codes. Try giving those a try.

There is a publicly available code sticky in this forum you can refer to; try those.

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/marri...ion-codes.html

Also, sometimes the properties' website will have some promotions.

Private Marriott corporate codes are not posted publicly on Flyertalk.

Cheers.

Yes, while corporate codes may help, it's at least as likely (and some cases much more likely) that it's LNF ("Look No Further", Marriott's Best Rate Guarantee program) that will help get the rates to the lowest possible. Start here:

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/marri...rsion-brg.html

It's a bit more complicated than plugging in a corporate code, but it can be well worth the effort if it gets you much greater savings.

Great first post

Try them all, one of them "should" provide you some sort of discount on page 1 of this thread or try google which really can be your friend. Whether that is enough of a discount for you, that is something that only you know

try another chain if its not in your price range too.

It will vary by property. But better to have the card w/ you if asked than not have it & have them book you at a higher rate.

Cheers.

I've used this thread a few times to locate some discount codes which have proved very useful, often scoring a better rate plus a free breakfast. But for the Marriotts I try here in Asia Pacific, I think the list of codes in the opening post are almost never being used any more.

I've been toying with the idea of a small bot that will poll a chosen property and go through the 46,656 possible three digit discount codes and return the best rate for a given date. I haven't got this to work yet but happy to get a PM from anyone technical whom wants to help me.

So, over the weekend I started a couple of random tries. I'll be visiting Manila soon, so I know that some large US corporations have plenty of visitors going there to discuss and manage their outsourcing.

The discount codes for companies like Citigroup and IBM corporate rates aren't too hard to guess.

I'm sure other companies would have a simple code as well.

Of course, I would also need to have an appropriate ID upon checkin so these codes are purely academic.

Cheers
