The publicly available codes on this thread are working as far as we know. Please note that not every code will work for every property worldwide.

The best thing to do, rather than just posting "I'm staying at (fill in the blank)/does anyone have a code", is to try all the codes first. As such, this thread is not for "cheaper rate" requests.
Note that It's highly unlikely that FTers will find a code that isn't already listed based on a one-off request.

If the code is available at the property, it will show that/rate. If it's isn't available, it will let you know that. Please note that if if one (or more) code is available, only you can determine if the cost savings fits with your budget. If it does, great. If not, you might want to try and see if the property has a local promotion going or if you can use LNF (Look No Further/Best Rate Guarantee) for a better rate. Also note that sometimes a publicly available code may show a higher rate than just a regular booking. Not always, but sometimes.

If you have discovered a new code, please post it in this thread and update this Wikipost. But please, this list is ONLY for publicly usable codes. No corporate or private use only codes please. Thanks!

what do the rate rules state when you click on them?

if they don't state or even indicate that its employee only, then you have a fighting chance at getting this IF its questioned

when you break life down to it's most simplistic level you only have your personal values to lead you through life......

sort of like when you book a room at a hotel and guarantee with a credit card, call the hotel and notify them of a late arrival and the hotel says you will have a room then upon arrival they walk you or kind of like when a hotel increases the stay anytime award points premium by 100% and then reduces the standard awards, I totally agree with you

I'm not sure why the above is directed at me.....I do find it offense to have words put into my mouth which is what you're doing in the above quote.....right or wrong, I wont judge, you have a very strong opinion of Marriott and would hope that you have contacted them and shared it

Here, someone has told him it is for employees so in this situtation I see the point you are making, but in general I don't see what's wrong with following the T&Cs. Isn't that what they are there for?

It was in response to your response to another poster, thats why I put it there, I do realize that you do not have anything to do with walking people and setting the policy or redemption value so It was directed at you directly.

It was directed at the part about ethics and my IMHO, my point is that MR isn't that ethical in its ownright hence any individual who interprets rules straight up as written is just playing the game that MR has set the tone for

oh yes, I've contacted MR about walks and about the redemption changes without a satisfactory response

I found a COK rate for Atlanta Midtown Suites for the 1st weekend in August . The price of the hotel went from $239.00/night to $152.00/night. After checking the "rate rules," there was no requirement for ID or any other proof of eligiblity needed.

Given that the text under the nightly rate says "Coca-Cola Enterprises" and refers to how close the hotel is from the "office", I'd guess that the rate refers to Coca-Cola employees only.

These references to non-public rates are not in the spirit of this thread, which was created to allow public rate codes to be shared. And the discussions of (1) non-public rates, (2) Marriott's failures to state explicitly that they are non-public and (3) Marriott's failures to abide by unrelated policies and all that sort of thing just make it more difficult for Flyertalkers to obtain the information that they need and expect to receive from this thread. Please take all that unrelated stuff elsewhere. Start a new thread if you must.

REG - Regular Rate
RAC - Rack Rate

Both of these seem to pull up the same rates and, whilst most often will bring up rates that are higher than those found doing a search without a code, they can be useful in finding a room-only rate where the hotel is only offering things like dining packages. I recently made a reservation at Marriott Tudor Park. For the dates I wanted (Aug 25-27) the only rates that appeared were Dining Escape Packages starting at GBP £156/night. REG pulled up a room-only rate of GBP £105.

FWIW.... (haven't read this whole thread)

In the CLT Uptown CY last week there were signs literally everywhere saying that if you booked a negotiated rate, you had to show ID at check-in to get that rate. Sounds like a crackdown to me....

Fortunately, they all know me there by name so I didn't have to show my ID (for a legitimate negotiated rate)
