Thought oddly enough, unlocked #2 on Mega Bonus earlier today, and now it says that promotion is over... and I have a stay in two nights that would have earned me 2,500 points. Seems a shame to throw them away.

Got it , registered finally marriott remember us and give us something at 43 night now without visa card 10 elite nights so yes 75 well be easy ..

Strangely I have been targeted for this promotion, although I am already LT platinum. I am also LT Plat at SPG and see the limited value for such a promotion for the different platinum bonus tiers. However, it does not really make sense in the Marriott program.

Maybe Marriott figure that once they merge with Starwood, they will need to raise the number of nights to qualify for each elite level to control numbers of elites, and this is a way of easing the transition....

I do have a non-US account (Plat, only 14 nights year though) and have received neither an email, nor can I find it in "Promotion Central". Would have been perfect for me

my wife (Silver) account got it while I do not (Plat) and we live in Canada.
It is interesting though from reading the full T&C, it state you need to register between May 3 and Sept 9:

Nice promotion anyway but not consistent as my colleague has lt. plat and got the promotion the other colleague is gold atm and hasn't got the promotion...
