Fastest Marriott Internet I have ever seen - this last week at the Marriott Riverside Convention Center, the internet was "broken" in so much as the paywalls were down. Everyone was connecting straight to the Marriott_Guest wireless and I got a download speed of 96 Mbps. Amazing how those connections are before they are "throttled!"

This is the complimentary one. The Premium one is slightly faster (did not bother to use it this time although complimentary for Gold/Plats)

Haha.. just noticed that during my last trip here in summer - the speed was so much better. Maybe another test is due tomorrow

Oh, I wish the availability of Wired Internet wasn't in decline- no matter how good the APs out in the hallway are (and I have to admit the Ruckus Wireless products are pretty good and many are 5GHz-capable), it's hard to beat my portable WiFi NAS plugged into an Ethernet port NATing that connection for consistency.

That box I have is also a WiFi Repeater and will NAT the WiFi signal back to my devices, but of course it's nowhere near as fast or as stable that way.

Jacksonville Marriott

I had to do a double take and make sure I am at a Marriott and not a Hilton (HH Diamond as well as MR Platinum).

No speed test...didn't bother...would have probably taken much longer to load the website then run the test...very slow
Rennaissance - Dallas Market Center.
Again, no speed test, but very decent, respectable speed (maybe seemed that way after Arlington)

Unfortunately, everything away from home is like dialup. Chattanooga has 10Gbit run to every house on fiber. I only have 1Gbit service, but logging in at 20-50 just seems to take longer than it should.
