That's pretty damn good for any hotel I have stayed.

What your doing on your device that those speeds equal a C grade?
Agree 100% on your grading assessment. I'm thrilled with a C.

I'm not assigning the grades. The Ookla SpeedTest server assigns the grades based on comparative internet services.

Ahh. I was reading it on the mobile site and that wasn't clear to me.

Hell I can't even get 9mbps upload at my house with comcast.

Gotta chuckle, txpenny, I spent 17+ years traveling to the Tampa area and must have stayed at 30 different hotels including the ones you seem to be testing out. I finally settled on the REN next to the Tampa Airport in the later years, you once could get a decent rate there.

BTW, I have optimum here in NY and it rates A+ (wired) and B- (wireless) but I only think its OK, nothing special.

I have one more stay left in my challenge, and after a year of commuting to TPA I believe I'm finally ready to settle on my goto hotel.

Additionally, this is a new hotel with a great staff. I will be booking here often.

Thought I would update this Courtyard, as their already decent speed increased.

How do you get that grade to show up?

I tested my home wired FIOS. I pay for 500/500, and my results were 43.9/57.7. That's logged in through my VPN which usually slows it down.

After running the test on http://www.speedtest.net, there's a tabulated option where you can copy a link to the results image (that we all post). Options are Web, Image, Embed, or Forum format. Select Forum tab and press the copy button - then simply paste into this text box.
