I don't get an error when using that URL. If you play around with it a bit you will see that they use a predictable pattern for searching by URL too.
For example, if I want to see all of the category 1-5 hotels:
http://www.marriott.com/hotel-search...ry4.Category5/
Or all category 1-5 in the US:
http://www.marriott.com/hotel-search...ry4.Category5/
And you can pick and choose:
http://www.marriott.com/hotel-search...ry2.Category4/
For example, if I want to see all of the category 1-5 hotels:
http://www.marriott.com/hotel-search...ry4.Category5/
Or all category 1-5 in the US:
http://www.marriott.com/hotel-search...ry4.Category5/
And you can pick and choose:
http://www.marriott.com/hotel-search...ry2.Category4/
I now exclusively use this method of searching for certain reward categories and over a greater region -- e.g. Carribean, Europe, etc., that previously done. This IMHO, is the best way to do a search of reward categories or brands within a given area(s).
