Initial list copied from post 82. Please add any additional alternate offers you may have gotten.

Marriott has now announced the 2013 Megabonus Promotion and you are able to sign up immediately. From what I can tell here are the options available to you though you will already be assigned to one of these options when you sign into your Marriott account. Option 1 is open to anyone.

1. Free night category 1-5 certificate for every two stays. Maximum of two free night certificates.

2. 25,000 bonus points after 15 nights + additional 15,000 bonus points after 20 paid nights for total of 40,000 bonus points for 20 nights.

3. 25,000 bonus points after 12 nights + additional 15,000 bonus points after 18 paid nights for total of 40,000 bonus points for 18 nights.

4. 35,000 bonus points after 20 nights + additional 15,000 bonus points after 25 paid nights for total of 50,000 bonus points for 25 nights.

Please correct me if I am wrong about this.

Also, I can still find plenty of ways to use a Category 1-4 certificate, even if it's just hitting a Courtyard while I'm on the road. One of the FS Marriotts I stay in quite often is still a Category 3 even. I think it's a stretch to call a free 1-4 night "useless."

I registered online no problem, unlike the Unexpected promo.

Anyway, with great trepidation, I ask... if I check in on Sept 14 and check out Sept 17, will the stay count? My thinking is yes. Thank you in advance for not calling me stupid.

general question on these bonuses - does a night booked on the closing day (e.g, Sept 2, Sept 3 checkout for the unexpected bonus) count for the qualification?

and to stay on topic, i was automatically registered, 35K at 20, additional 15K at 25.

I got the "Earn 25,000 bonus points after 15 paid nights plus an additional 15,000 after 20 paid nights, up to 40,000 bonus points". Blah.

My fiance didn't get anything (weird, but she never stays at Marriotts), and my brother got the 2 cat 1-4 certs (he stays a handful of times a year for work).

Still showing "No new promotions" for this Plat. This is just like Unexpected Bonus. Annoying that I have to call for something like this.

Interesting that our point options are the same but I only need 12 paid nights and then 18 paid for the additional 15K points.

My wife got 2 cat 1-5 certs and she has never stayed at a marriott or earned any points in her account so I think it is odd that your fiance didn't get anything.
