heard this from a GM today - could not recall the name of the level.

Thought qualification might require 100+ nights.

My neighbor's son works in the accounting dept of Marriott HQ. Heard a rumor about the 100+ level from that route.

Sounds like one more promise that Marriott won't pay attention to! At least it sounds good in the Marketing Literature!!!

I don't think extra concierge help is what will promote future business, so much as securing room upgrades. This seems to be the heart of many existing PLT gripes, much less a supposed über-PLT level.

75 nights is tough for me year after year. I am not sure I would even want to stay 100 nights anywhere other than my own bed.

I don't think many of use really want to do it, but it happens. I just checked and I'm at 101 YTD so I'm all for it.

Just finished all travel for the year and will end up with 187 nights in Marriott properties. Know how many upgrades to "best room available"? ZILCH!!! Forget the extra concierge help and fulfill the promises that is stated concerning upgrades for Plats.

The front desk clerk told me today that it was being kicked around but that nothing was final.

I told them they needed a better name - Titanium? Other ideas?

Knowing Marriott night thresholds, they'd probably want 400 nights a year for a new higher than Platinum level.

So one can only achieve it every 4 years?
