Initial list copied from post 82. Please add any additional alternate offers you may have gotten.

Marriott has now announced the 2013 Megabonus Promotion and you are able to sign up immediately. From what I can tell here are the options available to you though you will already be assigned to one of these options when you sign into your Marriott account. Option 1 is open to anyone.

1. Free night category 1-5 certificate for every two stays. Maximum of two free night certificates.

2. 25,000 bonus points after 15 nights + additional 15,000 bonus points after 20 paid nights for total of 40,000 bonus points for 20 nights.

3. 25,000 bonus points after 12 nights + additional 15,000 bonus points after 18 paid nights for total of 40,000 bonus points for 18 nights.

4. 35,000 bonus points after 20 nights + additional 15,000 bonus points after 25 paid nights for total of 50,000 bonus points for 25 nights.

All good hotels, Renaissance and Marriots in Moscow. It is not like they are far from the Kremlin.

I just hate staying with family as I feel imposing on them, so even if a few blocks from metro, all good. As a native Russian speaker, not an issue. I actually prefer hotels away from the Kremlin area, if we are calling that the center.

For St. Petes, my favorite is actually the IHG Crown Plaza airport location. Such a nice modern hotel. hehe. Club room there is awesome.

But even for Cat 4 and 5, the certs go a lot further overseas. =P

I digress.

Got the CAT 1-5 offer for my wife and myself.

Here are the 4 different promo T&C that I found:

Stay 2 Get CAT 1-5 Cert - Max 2 Certs

15 Nights Get 25K, 5 more Nights Get add'l 15K - Total 40K for 20 Nights

12 Nights Get 25K, 6 more Nights Get add'l 15K - Total 40K for 18 Nights

20 Nights Get 35K, 5 more Nights Get add'l 15K - Total 50K for 25 Nights

So, look like no more CAT 1-4 certs offer.

I just turned MR Gold and got the 20=35k > 5=10k offer. I'll turn Plat in October and will have 3 nights per week at a CY through November. Wondering what would make more sense - this or the certs? Any of you have a suggestion?

Personally I like points since they dont expire and are more flexible to use. But if you think you might not hit 25 nights then go with certs.

I got the stay 20 nights promo. Too bad I won't have 20 nights during that timeframe. I would have liked the stay 2 get 1 free promo.

Cheers.

I'm Marriott Silver and see no promo for the last 3 days

I'm earning Points for sure, not miles (I've changed back and forth and no luck)

I also tried on 2 computers, 2+ browsers, at work & home, no luck

I've received all previous Megabonus/Unexpected offers too

This is frustrating

Same here, so I called Marriott Customer Care and the nice lady on the other end enrolled me in the 2 x Category 5 certificates promo. Just give them a call.

(I did ask why I didn't receive anything, and she said there could be a problem with the website.)

I emailed today and asked for the 2x Cat 5 certs promo. Still nothing showing up in Promo Central, but there is a big banner on my front page touting MEGABONUS!

When I click on "Learn More" I get the error message.

Since I will EASILY get the 25 nights, why would going for the 18/12 instead of the 25/20 promo be better?

I'm with you on points vs. certs, englert... But wondered if anyone had a good reason to go certs instead...
