Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa (Mexico) [Master Thread]

We are looking at a vacation there next April but don't know anything about the resort. Two adults, no kids. Is the property in a good location? Well maintained? How are the rooms? Refurbished? Large/small? Good fitness center and restaurants? How far is it from sites, restaurants, bars, etc?

If you have points on both chains, the Marriott CM is a Cat. 5 while the Sheraton Buganvilias is Starwood Cat. 1 --if they ever finish their remodeling !

Trying to actually be helpful here....

www.offshoreresorts.com is a Marriott-run website that may give you a little more information than the regular Marriott site does.

You're welcome. Next time have a search through FT Archives as well. I just reread your original post and saw that you were looking for recent info, so maybe someone else has something to add. I haven't stayed at this property.

Marriot Concierge : Casa Magna Marriott Puerto Vallarta

Can anyone provide me with what to expect at this particular hotel, Casa Magna in Puerto Vallarta, I just activated my rewards membership and I was wondering if the hotel will do anything for me......I currently have the garden view room, is this a good room or the need to upgrade is a must?

I appreciate all the help you can all provide me also with info?
