Rollover confirmed for 2012/2013

My 2012 PLT card arrived sometime this week, with the note:

"We are also extending our popular Elite Rollover nights promotion, which means any nights stayed above your renewal level in 2012 will carry over into 2013".

"any nights stayed" is worrisome. Do credit card nights and other bonus nights sitll roll?

"I thought there had been a limit on the number of nights than could be rolled over?????"

Assuming you stayed 366 nights in 2012 the limit would be 366 - 75

I believe that "We are also extending our popular Elite Rollover nights promotion" will have the same terms as the past year.

I'm pretty sure credit card nights count, as do meeting planner nights, so you can be over 291, and any double night promotions will up that limit.

Don't forget that rollover nights do not rollover but everything else has in the past.

Keep i mind that some of us may stay checked into our "base" hotel and then stay a few nights at another property so it's not limited to 291 nights even without bonus nights or credit card stuff....

I'm new to Marriott, and searched for the answer to this, but couldn't find it.

How soon after January 1 2012, does MR show rollover night from 2011?

Hello den1k,

I don't have an official posting day yet, but normally they will post some time in the second or third week of January.

Kind regards,

Marie
