This isn't THE most exciting of the promos, but it seems like these cards can be used on ANY rate at a Marriott (and affiliated brand) hotel. That would include any other coupons and certificates, like Bonus Bucks. But you couldn't use it on a prepaid rate (except for incidentals), right?

I've got a wedding I'm attending in July in NYC - was going to buy this as it's a good deal...the rules state the following:

I'm staying at a group rate, so it's not really eligible on *any* rate...
Anyone have any experience otherwise?

Just checked with MR. This card is not eligible for use with the MOD discount code. The rep said it wouldn't be able to be used with any discount code. I'm not sure of the accuracy of his statement as the Gift Cards are able to be used with the MOD discount.
